BGS B School is firmly committed to fostering a campus culture rooted in dignity, respect, and mutual trust. In accordance with the directives of Bangalore University and the Honourable Supreme Court of India on preventing and eliminating ragging in educational institutions, the college has established a fully functional Anti-Ragging Committee and Anti-Ragging Squad.
This committee is responsible for maintaining a zero-tolerance policy toward ragging, ensuring vigilant monitoring, immediate intervention, and prompt action whenever required. The institution continuously strives to create a safe learning atmosphere where every student feels protected, valued, and empowered.
Responsibilities of the Anti-Ragging Committee
- Maintain strict surveillance in and around the campus to prevent any form of ragging.
- Educate students about the legal implications of ragging and promote awareness through orientations and campaigns.
- Address grievances immediately and conduct fair, confidential inquiries when incidents are reported.
- Enforce disciplinary action in accordance with UGC, Supreme Court, and University regulations.
- Ensure that new students transition smoothly into campus life with guidance and support.
